Product Overview

S13-M.RL and S11-M.RL series oil-immersed tridimensional toroidal-core distribution transformers are new type of high-reliability transformer products with more reasonable structure, better performance and lower manufacturing cost, which is successfully developed by the Company through two years trial production in October 2007. The product breaks through the traditional planar structure and adopts a three-phase symmetrical tridimensional structure. As there is no air gap in themagnetic circuit, the winding is tighter, the magnetic permeability direction of the silicon steel strip is completely consistent, the three core columns are arrangedinanequilateral triangle, the length of the three magnetic circuits is consistent and shortest, and there is no material cost in machining and nesting cutting, it is anefficient and energy-saving transformer with traditional materials, but with lower running noise and more compact structure. Its outstanding performance in reducing losses and saving materials fully conforms to China's energy-saving policy. This product is included in the first batch of products selected by national energy-efficient power plants; the project of investment in the central budget for national resource conservation and environmental protection, and rewarded a national award of RMB3.3 million yuan; 2008 National Torch Program Project.

Product Characteristics

Saving energy, reducing consumption and noise

  • Compared with S7 transformer with the same capacity, S13-M.RL oil-immersed tridimensional toroidal-core distribution transformer has 55% reduction in no-load loss, 33% reduction in load loss, 85% reduction in no-load current and 8DB(A)-13dB (A)reduction in noise.
  • Compared with S9 transformer with the same capacity, the no-load loss is reduced by 50%, the no￾load current is reduced by more than 80%, and the noise is reduced by 8dB (A)-11dB (A).
  • Compared with the national standard S11 transformer with the same capacity, the no-load loss is reduced by more than 25%, the no-load current is reduced by 70%, and the noise is reduced by 5dB (A)-8dB(A).
  • S11-M.RL Oil-immersed Tridimensional Toroidal￾core Distribution Transformer Compared with S7 transformer with the same capacity, the no-load loss is reduced by 35%, the load loss is reduced by 20%, the no-load current is reduced by more than 85%, and the noise is reduced by 8DB (A)-11dB(A).
  • Compared with S9 transformer with the same capacity, the no-load loss is reduced by 30%, the no￾load current is reduced by more than 85%, and the noise is reduced by 6dB(A)-10dB(A).
  • Compared with the national standard S11 transformer with the same capacity, the no-load current is reduced by 80%, and the noise is reduced by 5DB(A)-9dB (A).

Three-phase equilibrium

  • The tridimensional triangular toroidal-core is made up of three identical single frames. As the three core columns are arranged in an equilateral triangle, the magnetic circuit length of the three core columns is completely consistent and the shortest, and the loss of the three core columns is consistent, the three phases are balanced.

Stable quality and high production efficiency

  • The similarity between tridimensional triangular toroidal-core and planar wound core is that the toroidal core is rolled on the production line, which eliminates the quality fluctuation caused by manual lamination, stacking, disassembling and inserting yoke without transverse shear equipment, and can reduce 5-6 working procedures compared with laminated core transformer, therefore it has high production efficiency, stable and reliable quality, and less affected by human factors.

Enhanced ability to resist short circuit

  • Frames and cushion blocks are distributed around the body, and the cushion blocks are pressed by iron pressure plate in the center, so that the three phases have a uniform and symmetrical stress.
  • The compressed area of coil is increased by 15.7% compared with that of coil being pressed in the planar arrangement.. The clamp is a three-dimensional triangular frame structure welded into a whole. Due to the stability of the tridimensional triangle, the overall strength is large, and the three phases have a consistent stress.

Anti-theft

  • The laminated core transformer is easy to be stolen due to technical reasons, while the core of the toroidal-core transformer is a whole, which cannot be knocked away, and the coil cannot be taken down, so it has a better anti-theft performance.

Small floor area and beautiful appearance

  • The transformer oil tank adopts an approximate triangular structure, so its volume is smaller than that of the conventional rectangular oil tank, with a compact structure.

Good economy and high cost performance

  • Compared with the laminated transformer with the same performance level, the loss value and cost are reduced, so it can reduce investment cost for users, and save annual operation cost for users.
