On-load Capacity And Voltage Regulating Transformer

Product Overview

10kV capacity and voltage regulating transformer mainly has the functions of automatic capacity regulating, automatic voltage regulating and wireless "four remotes".

1. Automatic capacity regulating function

By using a capacity regulating switch configured for the transformer and based on real-time monitoring of the load situation, the transformer is automatically adjusted to a low capacity state during seasonal and periodic low load periods, which solves the problem of high no-load loss of the transformer during low load periods.

2. Automatic voltage regulating function

By using a voltage regulating switch configured for the transformer, the voltage can be automatically adjusted up and down based on the output voltage of the distribution transformer monitored in real time and the set threshold, which effectively solves the problems of over-high and over-low voltage caused by seasonal and periodic load changes.

3. Wireless "four remotes"

Through the on-line monitoring system, the real-time data and operation status of transformer are remotely transmitted to the background management system, so as to realize the "four remotes" functions: remote signaling, telemetry, remote control and remote adjustment. The operation analysis and loss analysis are conducted on the distribution station area, which provides reference for functional departments and improves the scientific nature of the construction and transformation of the power distribution network.

Product Characteristics

• When the on-load capacity and voltage regulating transformer is in large capacity, the three-phase high-voltage winding is connected in a triangular connection method(angle connection), and the low-voltage winding is in parallel structure; when in low capacity, the three-phase high-voltage winding is connected in a star connection method (star connection), and the low-voltage winding is interconnected in series.
• Star-corner conversion of high voltage winding and series-parallel conversion of low voltage winding are completed by on-load capacity regulating switch, and the switching of on-load capacity regulating switch is determined by automatic controller according to the detected load.
• When the transformer is converted from large capacity to small capacity, because the coil turns increase by 1.7 times, the magnetic density of iron core decreases greatly, the unit loss of silicon steel sheet decreases, and the no-load loss and no-load current also decrease greatly, thus greatly reducing the no-load reactive power loss(the no-load reactive power loss in small capacity is less than one tenth of the loss in large capacity)and the active power loss(the no-load loss in small capacity is less than one third of the loss in large capacity)of the transformer, achieving the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction.
